• In Spanish, this tuna is known as "Bonito del Norte", meaning Tuna of the North. In Ireland we refer to it as a Blue Fin Tuna, and it is usually caught in the Northern Atlantic.
  
  
• This tuna is considered to be the best, with a paler, softer and more flavoursome meat than Skipjack and Yellowfin Tuna.
